Lease program for all other Sequoias. Mack. Same deal in the SET. Platinum excluded from all offers (APR, cash back & Leases). Glad I locked in the April 0% for 24 mths offer on my Platinum. |

This is a surprise, I got the car just 15 days ago and they have dropped the price, APR and lease!! I know it is too much to expect; but is there a precedence to reneogitate a car deal?

Replying to: mackabee (May 01, 2008 11:41 am) I talked with my local dealer at VA, and was told that I have two options in terms of the incentives: 1. 0% for 60 months. No case back or loyalty cash. 2. $2000 cash back, plus $2000 loyalty cash. But, my understanding is that no matter I take the 0% APR or $2000 cash back, I am always eligible for the $2000 loyalty cash. But the dealer refuse to give my loyalty cash if I select 0% APR. Do you know what's the real case? I prefer 0% APR but definitely don't want to lost $2000 loyalty cash. Many thanks!

Sometimes what they will do is sell the vehicle for more if you opt for the 0%. The 0% financing doesn't do anything for the dealership. I believe they get $100.00 for doing the deal. OTOH with the rebates they get to keep them as most customers use them as cash down or to lower the price of the vehicle. Either way it usually comes out about the same in the end. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Mack |

It was in Atlanta and now it's in my driveway in Pennsylvania. Your advice through this buying experience was greatly appreciated!!! Deal was invoice plus $400 plus $699 dealer fee plus tax/title registration. 0% financing. In my opinion and my wife's opinion, the Pyrite Mica and Red Rock is a great combination. We also like the wood dash. Fender flares look great as well - gives the vehicle nice defintion and a more "rugged appearance". Wife has a nice new Mother's Day present! Thanks again!

Hey, hats off to you! You were able to get it done. My purchase was for the wife as well and she is very happy. Glad I could help. Sounds like you have a reasonable dealer that was willing to work with you. As I said before, I wasn't a fan of the fender flairs, but hey, to each his own. My wife does like the wood dash kit. My thieving dealer was asking $787 for the wood dash kit. Told him to go to hell. Mack has mentioned it was available for somewhere in the high $200 range. |
