Replying to: gs450h (May 02, 2006 9:57 am) During my commute this morning, 20mph seemed to be the threshold for ICE, although accelerator pressure and road incline definitely bring it lower. My understanding on premium vs. regular gas is that it's a performance issue, with possibly some deterioration in economy. That said, I was dumping the cheap stuff into my BMW in the last several weeks and I didn't notice a bit of difference (at least during leasurely commuting).

Replying to: 2001gs430 (May 03, 2006 3:52 am) I had a 530i with the standard wheels/tires that provided a good balance of handling vs. comfort on rough roads. The 450h is probably more comparable to a 540i or M5 in feel. It certainly is in torque/acceleration. |

| Has anyone read the User's Manual for the 450h, are there any special break-in procedures for the hybrid drive train? | |
