The quick guide that comes with the vehicle is good for that purpose. Short and step-by-step.

o7 camry se with nav. All the sudden have no gps indicator on screen. Now my current position/location is not correct. Calibrated current position several times. Could this be a bad gps antenna? no radar detector in use did tint the windows but used non reflective/no lead content tint.Would like to go into dealer with what I think it may be. I professionally installed car electronics 17years and have some sort of ideah this may be the problem. Once in a great while lately it will give gps indicator but not for long. Help!!

Boy!!!!!!!!!! Will I second that request. I sold my 07 Camry XLE with 4,000 miles on it because of the damn Navigation. We seniors need a course, and not on online course, from the dealer to learn how to operate the system. You know men-we don't read instructions and to top it all off, the system has a women telling us where to turn.
Oh well, our days are numbered anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please take your vehicle to your local Toyota dealership and have them check TSIB EL012-06. They will order a disc to correct the issue you are experiencing.

Really? There must have been some other things you didn't like about the car. If you don't like the navigation then the easiest solution is not to use it. I bet most people that own nav don't use it much either.

I found out Toyota's NAV has better resolution than Honda's. I like Toyota's graphic better, but its voice recognition sucks. It hardly understands what I am trying to say, and very awkward to use the voice command.
The car interior looks much better with Nav. Overall the NAV is accurate but somehow annoying. It keeps saying the route guidance when I am using it. Sometimes I just suspend it until we approach to the destination.

Isn't that the point of route guidance? Doesn't Honda give vocal guidance as well?

I have had 13 toyota's since 1968. My 2007 Camery Is No. 14!
The NAVIGATION SYSTEM Instructions Are the worst thing I have ever recived from Toyota. The car is great like all the other 13 Toyota cars before it, If toyota starts making it cars like the NAV.SYSTEM Instructions. We Toyota customers are in trouble. Loyal Toyota customer. Ellwood Decker
