Replying to: fpd048 (Aug 10, 2009 3:45 pm) Mike, Same problem. I have googled dozens of people with this squeak, but have never found a solution posted. Mine is not the clock spring, and not the firewall boot. I have lubed all the accessible fittings. Sounds and feels like it's somewhere between the steering wheel and the firewall, but where? Has anyone ever found how to fix this?   Morser

Hi Was wondering of someone could help me. Took car to mechanic and he said the steering doesnt pull back itself after you have turned. I have noticed every so often it screatches, any ideas? thanks

I have a 94 grand cherokee quadro-trac( all time 4Hi ) after driving at highway speeds for a while ( 20 miles+ ) and returning to driving in town, turning left and right somewhat sharp, the front end shutters not wanting to turn. It acts like a slipping clutch? does anyone have ideas on what could cause this?

Replying to: hikick1 (Sep 30, 2008 5:03 am) removing the driveshaft did not solve my problem. I will try the stabilizer bar next.....has anyone actually had sucess at solving the actual death wobble?
