I now have a Milano red 06 tsx-It seems to look clean from a distance for along time. The paint is lousy tho-chips easy. Alot of owners have clear bra's on their cars. Both of my foglights cracked within the first 6 months. After being replaced I now have rockblocker on them. I do love the car, highly recommend it. Mine has the ebony interior. Bought the car new 11/17/06. it has 44,000+ miles.

Looks gorgeous, especially when its clean and in direct sunlight (it appears to change colors).   However, as far as dirt goes....you can tell its dirty from about 10 feet away, further than that unless you have bird droppings, you won't really notice dirt. As far as scratches go, I don't know what to tell you, I don't see any yet, but I would immagin tha the color, and the way it acts in the sunlight, it would probably mask scratches pretty well.   Good luck with your purchase. Replying to: dshkrab (May 12, 2008 12:20 pm) I did go ahead w/the CGP, and so far, so good. When I'm driving, if the hood is dusty I can tell, but from a distance, not noticable. I do like the color a lot, I think it really shows off the TSX lines well.

Replying to: bobgwtw (Aug 14, 2008 3:40 pm) Well, another issue is dealers will use the mobile wash on their cars, and then not even realize that they are putting swirl marks all over. They say they are using a soft brush, but when you are using the brush, you are pushing all of the dust all over, like using a low grit sandpaper on it. I have seen brand new mercedes with swirl marks all over it. All they really need to do is, just use a pressure washer, perhaps with a wash clear coat fluid, sorta like a temporary wax, spray it down. I cringe when I see them taking that brush to a new car. When I got my car, I had some swirl marks, but I have waxed it several times, and it looks much better. I went to one dealership, and you could tell they used a buffer machine on ALL of their cars, and did the guy know how to use it? NOPE! This finish had deep, buffer, swirl marks all over, I am not sure you could ever really get that out. Now this was on all used cars. Horrible!! When I lease my next car, I hope to get one right off the truck, with the wrap still on it. My mom did this, paint looks great.   If you have bubbles, than its a paint problem, not something you did, unless you have an old car, that had never been waxed.   I am a big fan of keeping my paint looking great! Shiny. I have never owned a black car, but I will, perhaps on my next lease, I think I can handle it, which requires waxing all the time to look its best.

I just bought a 09 TSX (slightly used - 13k miles) from an Acura Dealer. It is White. On the body, just below the rear doors (rear corner) is a small piece of clear protective tape (about 1" wide x 7" long and, very similar to the factory accessory called "Door Edge Guards").   It is really noticeable when the car is dirty... as it tends to collect dirt at the point where the tape meets the car and that dirt being BLACK... it ends up looking like a thin black line, outlining the tape!   I asked the Dealer could it be removed and he said it is Factory applied to protect that section of the body from chips from small rocks, etc. He said Acura decided on this appliqué as a remedy to numerous complaints about paint chipping, in that particular area, from road hazards (small rocks and the like).   Any comments on: 1) Removing the tape? 2) Veracity of the Dealers statement? 3) Experience with paint chipping, in that particular area.   Thanks Replies to this message: bvdj84 (Jul 19, 2009 2:39 pm)

Replying to: 326 (Jun 26, 2009 11:53 am) I would probably remove it, as you would probably have better luck getting a 3M film that could remedy the problems later on. I am sure you could retro fit a line all by yourself.
