I had a Magic Shade for my M5 but the craziest thing happened to it. After using it for two months and thinking it was the best thing, it started getting stuck right where the windshield and dash meet. The Magic Shade fell apart from me trying to get it unstuck on several occasions. The very last time I tried to free it, the shade completely tore off from the flexible frame. I never forced the Magic Shade hard into the dash/windshield area at all. Maybe I just have a quality control issue with the fitment of the dash and windshield. I will have the dealer check it when I go for my first oil change at 3,000 miles. Replies to this message: athenasius (Jul 11, 2008 7:53 am)

I have been using them for years and my first one i bought years and years ago is still going strong on my other car ( way too small for mazda screen - and that car is 1983) I bought a new one for my mada 5 in may 2005 and it is still like new.

Does anyone have a good brand suggestion (& size) that works best for the Mazda 3? I'm still using my old shield from my Protege & it's too short.

Mine does it too. I was thinking about putting a small piece of velcro on the back of the car's sunvisors and on the mazda sunscreen where it make contact with the sunvisor when flipped down.

Replying to: bigbear54 (Aug 10, 2006 4:45 am) I have had the same problem on my 06 S HatchBack, the edge of the corner even came off because it is made so cheap. My sunscreen actually does not even stay in place as it did when I first used it. It is clearly a piece of junk.
