This isn't a review of a "First Drive"; at best, it's a "First Look", or more accurately, "First Report". I have to question whether the author ever drove the car at all. Looks like we are still awaiting the first report from a drive of the car.

Once again lexo plays it safe. Bland styling, interior, and engine. it's like the putt needed to win the game and the ball stops inches before going into the hole. even the rim design is bland. They would look great on a camry. the metal looking trim on the dash needs to go. It makes the car look cheap. Even the parking gimick falls short. What a joke. I'm sure lexo will sell a lot of these cars, to bland followers and loyalist.

what risks did you want them to take? i think their demographic is fond of rather consertive styled cars and they didnt obviously want to sway from that. it still looks quite good in my opinion. at least they didnt do a chris bangle .

After a detail look of the LS 460, there are looks of the BMW 7 series. Especially on the side view and the rear of the LS460. Knowing Lexus, it is going to be nice luxury car. But will it handle like a BMW? Like Jim Press of Toyota said. We want it all. Luxury, power, and great handling. A sport car in a expensive suit. Will the LS 460 be able to delivery?

Do you think Lexus' goal was to make their LS handle like a 7 series? I doubt it. In many ways, I think the LS is superior to a 7 Series - handling not being one of them, but ride and luxury appointments THAT WORK are.

The normal car is huge! The bigger version is really huge! The drive is very nice! It feels like a smaller sports sedan... the luxury and feel of the car is great! I was impressed!!!! The information center uses high rez graphic elements for mpg, tire pressure monitor and more... really nice! When you sit down you see lots of buttons... a little confusing at first!
