Has anybody found a source for replacement keys for less than the $35 charged by Honda? Replying to: elsabae (May 13, 2006 8:54 am) The blank is $40 and there's a $55 service fee to imprint the chip and make the key - and you have to bring both of the other keys with you. There are costs to having that immobilizer chip in the key. Total cost before tax - $95. If there's a cheaper way, I'd sure like to know.

Replying to: mainefit (May 13, 2006 8:29 pm) Officially you should get two (2) keys with sport, both with remotes in the key head. You should also have gotten a number tag with the keys which has something to do with the programming code. after over 2000 miles and no problems,the locks no longer function properly. when i hit the lock button(on the door or the remote)i hear a double 'locking' sound. unlock just clicks so i know the solonoid works. i manually unlocked all doors and hatch but the problem remains. the manual says to take to dealership for this. has anyone else experienced this?
