What is this discussion about? Suzuki XL-7, SUV

Article comments for First Drive: 2007 Suzuki XL-7 - As a matter of fact, the XL-7 is really little more than a stretched version of the Chevrolet Equinox and most of its engineering took place in suburban Detroit. Like its American cousin, the XL-7 is a front-wheel-drive unibody sport-ute with optional all-wheel drive. (more)

My 2003 Limited by 5greyhounds

I have a 2003 limited and it is a great little truck. If the new one is as much of a leap forward as the review says I may just have to give it serious consideration. I love the look and the interior is very nice looking. One question. I have the third row with rear AC. I got the third row because I have large dogs (retired racing Greyhounds) and unless you got the 3rd row when the second row seats were put down it made for a very uneven rear cargo area. With the third row seat configuration it was level and the dogs did good. Is it going to be the same in 2007 or will the second row fold flat so it is level without having to have a third row?. Also, is rear AC still available

I think that the xl7 will do very well in this catagory.
the refined v6 will be a winner to with 250 horses, and keeping the good fuel economy.Suzuki really stepped up on this one lets all hope that they do that with the rest of the upcoming vehicles.

Totally not enough information.

If you are one person with many friends, then no it's not too big.

Do you do a lot of camping and take family and friends?

Do you carry around your DJ equipment, band equipment, etc.?

You can fold down the rear seats and use it as a 5 seater, and use the cargo space, but still have the extra seats for the times when you need them.

Pretty tough to answer your question without knowing what your intended uses are.

There could be a couple of dozen vehicles that fit what you require, but we don't know what you require.

If you can afford it, and just love the styling, then who cares whether it is too big for one person. I'll be that once you get it, you'll find all kinds of things to do with the extra capacity.

The nice thing is it isn't quite as much of a gas hog as others in the class/size.

Sounds good. I mean a base Pontiac Torrent is 22.6K and you get a crappy old motor with that. GM better lower prices.
