If you want to play it that way, yes the 20k price tag comes with a fairly loaded four door rabbit. My 2 door rabbit barely cost 17k, which is not that much more than a fit sport and it offers more features. (albeit not things that are neccessary but more than justify the couple hundred more.) The fit, as nice as it is and as much as i really do still like it and find myself looking at them when passing through honda dealers, still feels a cut below the rabbit. The rabbit has such a rock solid feeling and amazing build quality that its such a good amount of car for the price. The fit is outstanding in this area as well, but after having test drove both, i realize that the fit, while peppy and giving better mileage, simply does not feel as solid. (thats weight and physics mind you, not really an opinion.) The fit is very nimble, but its certainly not as quick as the rabbit nor does it have the same gusto of the line. Fuel ecomoy? Yeah it stinks sometimes, especially after coming off of an 06 civic. But the tank is considerably larger so i can get pretty far, i have never averaged below 27 mpg (mixed about 50/50) and the fact that this is the only car in my household that me and my wife use, makes it not that big of a deal. In fact, this car gets better mileage than her 03 mazda protege 5 did. As far as space goes, i think that it only applies to the fit's hatch, the interior of it may only seem roomier because of how tall it is and how airy it feels. So the 4k is not really a big deal, if you get the right rabbit. I like 4 doors, but i didn't need them and even so i was hard pressed to find a fit that didn't near the 20k mark anyway because of all the dealer markup where i live.

But hey bob i'm glad the fit fits for you so i'll just hop along.

Hmm...what does this all mean? Hey you know how i show it when i think a car is lame? By not posting in a forum that is about them, thanks.

Repairs? Haven't had any. And if i need them, i have 50k more miles to go.

It's good as a 2dr, but pretty tough putting a kid in a car seat.

i've thought of that and i've actually have had my little car seat occuping brothers in the back when the come to visit me and my wife and it wasn't too bad...but it would get old after awhile. I think that for kids four doors are a so much better.
