I have a broken "disk server" in the 6 disk changer. The local radio shop can't repair it. The dealer will only replace the whole unit with a new one ($1000). Has anyone else had this problem? How can I get it fixed or replaced at a resonable price? The unit has all the other functions included in it (trip odometer etc.) that are now not working. Replying to: 1mmm777 (Dec 14, 2007 1:13 pm) Better place in the future to have your 6 disk cd player repaired is at:   http://www.rivetech.com/   Cost me 80 bucks. Repair was flawless. However, you must remove the mechanism yourself from the radio, and ship it alone (this is very easy). I bought 2 Bose 6 CD radio systems from eBay, and neither fixed the problem. Sent it to Rive, and got it back in 10 days repaired, and working better than new. If you wish not to remove the cd changer yourself, there may be an additional charge from rive tech. I HIGHLY recommend them.
