First Drive: 2007 Suzuki SX4 - Replacing the Aerio SX in the lineup, the 2007 Suzuki SX4 is an all-new 4-door hatchback with standard all-wheel drive and the most powerful 4-cylinder engine in the segment. It's a far cry from the all-powerful GSX-R, but Suzuki knows the real target for the SX4 are buyers who might otherwise consider vehicles like the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa and Scion xA.

I just bought the SX4 auto on 10/4 . I love it!! It is a great car..it is extremely comfortable. When you are driving it, you feel like you are driving a SUV. The car does not have great initial pep but once you get moving it takes off. It has a very smooth ride even on rough roads. Everyone I have taken in it likes it also. Even the people who sat in the back seat which is also very comfortable. It is more comfortable then the Honda CRV which my brother owns. I only paid 14,900 for it. It is not a 17,000 + vehicle like someone else said (unless you get alot of upgrades) and on an empty take it cost $19 to fill up at a cost of |

Replying to: aladdinsane (Aug 29, 2006 7:55 pm) I am always reading about people wondering who actually NEEDS AWD. Aside from us needing it in the winter due to our driveway and location, I see it as a safety feature. How many people NEED an airbag? not many (by %). But those that do are thankful for it. I had an accident in my Subaru (first ever and not my fault) that ended up with a little body damage. I was physically pushed off the road and had I not had AWD, I surely would not have been able to maintain control. |

Replying to: cathie1 (Oct 07, 2006 5:26 am) we traded in a 2002 Montero Sport V6 auto - and this is a BIG change (size wise, ride wise, comfort wise and FUEL wise) Its no roadrocket - but as the other poster stated once off the line it can pick up speed good enough. And the build quality seems on par with typical honda levels IMHO. only thing I dislike is the standard tires... seem poor for snow use?

Canadian Driver. They seemed to like the car a lot and were complimentary of it's drivetrain's smoothness. Quite encouraging. I recommend those interested in the crossover reading the Canadian Driver review. For that matter most of the 2007 Suzuki SX4 reviews are pretty complimentary of the car. |
