Integrated booster seats in second row.
Less "ovalness" in the front dash area.
Satellite radio.
DVD entertainment system for back seats w/screens in headrests, not on ceiling.
Diesel option.
Refined aerodynamics.

I'd like to see:

-improved rear visibility
-take heated seat buttons off the center console (if you lay your mail down there, you accidentally turn the seats on)
-cup holders built into the center arm rest on second row
-relocate the red button on the key fob; when you grip it, it is easy to accidentally squeeze that button and the horns go off
-improved gas mileage
-third row seats that fold into the floor board

I love my Sequoia!

I live in the Northeast and currently own a 2002 Sequoia SR5 4WD. Since I use the vehicle in all types of weather, especially when skiing in the winter, I'd like to see the NOAA weatherband radio included as standard equipment. My Mercedes ML320 had it and even my wife's Subaru Forester has it as standard. Also heated seats should be an option without having to get leather. On Saturday I stopped at the Toyota dealership in Kingston NY and was told the 2008 Sequoia on the new Tundra chassis will be out in spring/summer 2007. Can anyone substantiate that?

A diesel engine option for the Sequoia is a must especially since the new standards are coming out soon for clean diesel fuel.

I have owned at least 6 Toyotas, including the current '05 SR5 Seq - and I think the Seq is the only one of those (Tercel, Camry (2), Highlander and Corolla) that does not have the "up and release single wipe" option on the wiper stalk. Comes in handy when all you need is a quick flash of the wipers and don't want to turn on the wiper delay.

I'd like to see the gear shift in the console and not by the steering wheel. Power lift gate & telescopic steering wheel, Xenon headlights are to name a few. I feel the Sienna has more luxuries than the Sequoia.

Agree with many of the suggestions- here is my list (I own a 2001 limited and am looking for something new):
1- Towing capacity of a min of 7500lb. Why pay the gas mileage penalty if you can't tow with it?
2. Make V8 avail with 325 to 350 hp
3. Move seat heater switches of console to prevent accidental deployment
4. MP3 input to stereo
5. Fold flat seats in rear (3rd row) or some better means to fold them out of the way (note I would NOT want the spare on the back hatch if this is the trade off)or make them light enough to remove without breaking your back. Have your wife take them out as a test and when she can do it easily you got it right.
6. Easier access to third row seats. The tumble process for 2nd row does not work unless you do it all in one motion. Kids can't do it right consistently and the seats are heavy.
7. 18 inch or larger wheels
8. At least 18 MPG city, 20's highway Make it lighter so we don't have to put so much gas in it.
9. Heated cloth seats. The leather cracked in drivers seat and leather is a mess to maintain with young kids.
10. Make some decent mats that will protect carpeting from Northeastern winters avail thru Toyota and I will stop buying them from MacNeil automotive in aftermarket. Or make their products avail as OEM equip.

NAV outdated by gagrice

I wish my new 2007 Sequoia had a little more up to date NAV unit. I has no tie-in for XM satellite radio and road conditions. No voice activation. It is a decent SUV, with nice ride and smooth engine.

My wish list is based on the 7/20/07 ordering guide available at Toyota dealers and what I see lacking from that list. My list includes:
-Desert Sand Mica color option w/ Sand Beige interior. If that color is not offered, then all 3 interior color choices (not just 2) should be offered with ALL complementing colors, especially with Platinum interior.
-XM (or Sirrius) satellite radio with iPod or MP3 audio input jack.
-2nd row bench seat option with Platinum interior.
-Full size spare tire underneath at back.
-More luxurious interior than Tundra pickup.
-Canadian pricing on par with US pricing now that our dollar is at par (or greater).
