I'd still like to know when they plan on the new model! I own a 4Runner currently but want to upgrade. My sister owns an older Sequoia....on new models, do the rear seats fold down into the floow w/o having to be removed from the vehicle to keep the cargo area? If not..that's on my wish list.... |

I say DEATH to those little folding thingies attached to the seats that provide NO support for getting out of the suv nor a comfy place to rest your arm while driving. PLEASE TOYOTA -- offer a full center armrest on the new Sequoia!!!!!! |

Roof rack and running boards g. The Limited should have a distinguished look,">link title different from the SR5 5. Side Airbag curtains on all Sequoias |

| One thing I want to add to previous lists: Lets not forget to catch up with other upper end car lines by adding new technology like a MP3 audio jack for ipods. | |

-more towing capacity -memory seats without having to get the second row as captians chairs -heaver duty brakes on the front |
|
| Is the new Sequoia getting the 5.7L engine from the upcoming new Tundra ? If so, that should dramatically improve towing capacity. My uncle just trading in his 01 Sequoia Limited for an 06 RAV4 V6. The money you save on gas is huge. | |

Replying to: steve_ (Jul 25, 2006 10:42 am) -improved rear visibility -take heated seat buttons off the center console (if you lay your mail down there, you accidentally turn the seats on) -cup holders built into the center arm rest on second row -relocate the red button on the key fob; when you grip it, it is easy to accidentally squeeze that button and the horns go off -improved gas mileage -third row seats that fold into the floor board I love my Sequoia! |

| I live in the Northeast and currently own a 2002 Sequoia SR5 4WD. Since I use the vehicle in all types of weather, especially when skiing in the winter, I'd like to see the NOAA weatherband radio included as standard equipment. My Mercedes ML320 had it and even my wife's Subaru Forester has it as standard. Also heated seats should be an option without having to get leather. On Saturday I stopped at the Toyota dealership in Kingston NY and was told the 2008 Sequoia on the new Tundra chassis will be out in spring/summer 2007. Can anyone substantiate that? | |
