Does anyone know how does the HAH will perform when the air conditioning is running? I am moving to Las Vegas and I need a new car. I was considering buying a hybrid, but somebody told me that hybrids would not perform well when the air conditioning kicks in. Replying to: mlo (Apr 12, 2005 3:16 pm) No one really knows yet, for sure, but the Accord hybrid DOES have the first in the hybrid industry "electric compressor" to allow the A/C to be run on the Hybrid battery and not be using fuel:   " Adding to overall efficiency is a "hybrid" air conditioning compressor that runs on both the gasoline engine and the IMA battery and provides for good air conditioning performance even when the engine is in Idle Stop mode. Replying to: tempusvn (Apr 13, 2005 5:02 am) hello, i live in florida and its been hot, absolutely no decrease in performance when a/c is running off the battery or at all (no more than normal). drag is the main reason that there is no moon roof. jd
