Hi, I just purchased a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid and was having the Bass Speaker System and 8 CD Changer installed as add-ons, until I discovered the port for my mp3 player. Since I can play albums with my player I decided Ito forgo the 8 CD Changer, which has not been installed. The dealer gave me a runaround about how they had given me the add-ons at no charge, so there would be no refund if I decided not to get it, until I balked. They finally agreed to install an XM Radio and give me the All Season Floor Mats in exchange for the Changer. My question is this: With the Honda site pricing the XM radio at $310, All Season Mats at $117 for a total of $427 and the Changer at $596--did I get a fair deal? They went on about how the XM radio cost more to install, etc. than the changer. I just don't want to give them getting off the hook for anything after what I went thru to finagle the deal I got. Any opinions or comments would be appreciated.

I thought I would let everyone know my recent finding with the built in nav audio player: I have found that the USB access to display folder and tracks is slower than using a SD card put in the card reader. I am planning on buying a 16GB SD card that can double as a memory card for my camera as well as the one to hold songs. Please post if you had any success with any 16 GB SD card. |

Replying to: montanarane (Aug 13, 2009 8:39 am) It seems like the card sticks out a bit from the slot. I purchased this card based on earlier posts that this particular card worked in the slot. Maybe I'm not applying enough force to get the card to "seat" in the slot. I'm trying not to get it jammed in there. Any help would be appreciated. |

Folks, a couple of questions: 1. Did you have any success using a SDHC PCMCIA card reader in the nav unit? 2. What is the max SDHC card capacity that you were able to use with the above adapter? I have only been able to use a SD card reader with a max 2GB SD card so far. PS: I don't want to use a CF card and reader since I am living in the SD ecosystem now (camera, cell, readers on laptop/desktop, etc. all use SD only.) |
