On the forums, from Edmunds: "The Most Significant Cars from the Past 40 Years.... new cars added each week."   Is that called being fashionably late, or just missing the boat?

By my tally, Dodge led all makes with 6 and DaimlerChrysler led all manufacturers with 12.   12 DaimlerChrysler (9 Chrysler Group / 3 Mercedes Group)  5 Ford  5 GM  4 Toyota  4 Nissan  3 Honda  3 BMW  2 Mazda  1 Porsche  1 VW  1 Mitsubishi   The PT Cruiser was a Plymouth in 2001. It became a Chrysler after Plymouth was discontinued in (I think) 2002.
