If you are attracted to the Caliber for looks sake, you will be very disappointed with the aesthetics of the Fit. I find the Caliber very good looking, and when I saw the Fit on the road, I laughed and thought it was some Kia or wanna-be with its cartoon-like apercu. I am in the market for a commuter car and wanted to look at a Fit and scratched it off the list after seeing one. I told my wife how silly they looked which made her want to look at one to see what I was talking about. Well, let's just say she likes the "cute factor" and liked it. She also thinks the Caliber is ugly and wonders why I like it, so go figure. I'm currently driving her Toyota Echo (only a mother could love) to work to get that 40 mpg. We use our Durango when we have all 7 of us. I like the Caliber for its looks and versatility and safety features. I'm just a little too conservative to buy a first year vehicle since I keep them so long. I have had Dodge and Jeep products and have run them with very few problems; Shadow (140k), Spirit (156k), Dakota (280K) and a Cherokee (170k). If gas were not so expensive with the prospect of only getting more expensive, I would buy a Jeep Liberty and pretty much have what I want in a vehicle.

One of my major dislikes for the Fit is its miniture and cute appearance (at least from the pictures I have seen). However, my brother saw one and said it wasn't as small as he thought and that it looked sporty (He must have seen the Fit Sport).
Does anyone have the pictures I am looking for?

I always find it interesting that guys buy cars, worrying about what other guys are going to think of them, when they see them with it. I guess that's why Dodge had to pull the "Silly little fairy" comment from the Caliber commercial.

Not every Fit owner has a neighbor with a Caliber across the street that they can just go take a picture of.
Anyway, you didn't see this Car & Driver: Comparison Test?

Dodge Caliber? that is one UGLY car...there is no way you can compare a Honda to a Dodge...Honda builds top quality cars...can't say that about dodge
