| When did the 2009 TCH's come on the market? When I bought my 2008 TCH in September, some of the dealers in Maryland hadn't even received the 2008 models yet, and I had to wait till my car was delivered from the factory. | |

Hi - I am about to purchase a 2009 TCH and it is the top of the line model with the Nav and the Bluetooth. My main question is, the car comes with the NAV, but you have to purchase a receiver and install it in the car and then also subscribe to XM. By the time I spend the extra money, will the NAVteq system give "Real Time Traffic"? Will it re-configure your route if there are traffic jams, accidents? The traffic and re-routing is the main concern for me, called both Toyota and XM but no clarification. |

I just picked up my new '08 Camry and got a great deal. The car is awesome. If you're interested in buying a hybrid at a good price now is the time. You can get invoice pricing, $1000 cash back, and good deals on financing. I know I probably sound like a salesman but I'm not. Just very happy with my car and the deal I got.

Replying to: remard (Apr 14, 2008 7:08 pm) Simply, I love driving it. I drive 60 miles round trip every day. So far I'm averaging 37 mpg, though that'll probably change as I get used to driving and I get thru the break-in period. Added benefit is that I no longer have a lead foot as I did with my 02 Maxima. I do however have a question for my fellow TCH owners. It concerns "stopping & parking" the car. What's the exact procedure for with this ? I've been: Stopping. With foot on brake, I place in Park. Then press down the emergency brake. Then press the Power button/switch for 3-4 seconds. Most of the time everything goes dark, however, sometimes the dashboard lites remain illuminated and the "green" light on the Power switch/button remains illuminated. I exit then lock the door. When I return several minutes later to "verify" the status, all lights are off and the green light on the Power switch/button is no longer illuminated. Any ideas ?? Thanks for your input
