CNGPrices.com - Interactive map of CNG stations and prices by cngprices
Nov 09, 2007 (2:31 pm)
Reply
Hi all ...

I set up a new web site for tracking CNG stations and prices called CNGPrices.com. It's an interactive, movable, clickable map of public CNG stations and current prices throughout the USA. Right now it mostly has updated prices for the Los Angeles and Orange County areas, but if you know of some prices in your area, please update the map so others can benefit.

If you visit the site, please feel free to send me comments using the contact form on the site. I'm always happy to hear ways to improve the site.

Cheers,
Todd

I went to Calabasas today, the pump is there, but it is off. The manager of the stations has no plan on reopening. He said he paid $800 a month in Electricity and never sold that much, even with 2 or 3 CNG buses in Calabasas. Too bad, it was really close to the freeway and if it were reasonable, it would have been a great place for me.

Oh well!

Hello cng supporters !!

Utah and Oklahoma cng prices just DROPPED effective 11/1/07. They are doing the right thing and passing on additional Federal credits.

UT now is $0.64 statewide (drop from former $0.74 per gge).

OK now is $0.91 statewide (drop from former $0.95 per gge).

Wow, now how can Clean Energy Fuels justify their skyhigh prices in AZ, CA, CO, TX, and NY !!!

It's not really hard for Clean Energy to Justify the price. They make the deals that they make. In Utah and Ok, the state government picks up a lot of the costs. Land is a lot less expensive, and there is an effective push into these cars.

Clean energy is in business to turn a profit (which they claim to have not been able to do).

I would love it if the state of california would pay $1.50 a gallon for my fuel. It's not going to happen, but I would love it if it did.

Could you please post this information in the interactive fuel station guide at www.cngprices.com ? This guy finally put together the fueling guide we have all been asking for. Prices at a glance, station status, comments about the station, everything we have asked for, but never had allin one place before. It's awsome!

Ouch . . . more PRICE GOUGING and POOR SERVICE by Clean Energy !!! How can $2.69 per gge be justified after 11/1/07 additional $0.10 credit by Federal government that other proactive cng providers like Utah and Oklahoma passed on to their customers. Thus, UT was $0.74 per gge that dropped to $0.64 per gge after 11/1/07. Oklahoma did almost as well going from $0.95 per gge to $0.91 per gge after 11/1/07. I fill up my cng tank in OK for less than $5 for bi-fuel Cavalier !!

Everyone please email, write, call, complain, etc. to your Congressman, Senators, Governor, DOE, EPA, President, etc about monopoly price-gouging practices of Clean Energy . . . a national public company that cng users really do NOT want in the cng business. Frequent every mom & pop public cng pump you can and all those municipal public cng pumps - - give them ALL your business. CE even makes it more difficult by NOT allowing purchase with only a credit card . . . almost all locations require a "CE Fuel Card" which basically serves as marketing data gathering tool !! Come on !!
