Is it possible to pause a CD or MP3 track? I know you can mute the sound, but the tracks keep playing (silently.) Thanks.

Can anyone please give mesome advice on getting the Infinity Head Unit out of the dash? The reason being...I need to fit an inline FM Transmitter to the rear of the head unit. The FM TX is for my Harmon Kardon Drive'n'play ipod thingy. Thanks, Nigel

Is anyone aware if the Infiniti Audio sysyem has an input jack located on the back ( or front) of the head into which one can plug in an IPOD cable? If so, what is the cost of installing such an input cable, and how does it work? I still can't get any info from Hyundai about upgrading steering wheel audio controller to 2007 model. They keep sending me from Customer Affairs dept. to Dealer part dept. The same applises to tire pressure monitor system and lighted side view mirrors. I wish they would get their act together.

Replying to: shawal (Sep 04, 2006 5:35 am) 1. Disconnect negative battery terminal. 2. Remove crash pad center garnish. (Refer to Body Group-Crash Pad). 3.Remove the center fascia panel (A) after loosening screws. Avoid damaging retaining clips. 4. Remove connectors of digital clock and hazard switch. 5. Remove mounting screws then remove audio unit(B). This may be a fruitless endeavor because the rear of the unit does not appear to have an audio input jack. Apart from the RF coax connector all connections are made via a 24 pin connector. I'm not familiar with HK iPod unit. You'll need to look at the pin-out under ----/Audio Unit/Component to determine if the HK unit can be interfaced via the 24 pin connector or the coax input.

The LCD Display in on the dash and the "clickwheel" controller is easy to hand on the console. The iPod hides in the small compartment below the heater.

I am 3 weeks into my new Azera and love it. As some others have commented the mode button taking the place of a button that can page thru stations is a little annoying. Has anyone spoken to Hyundai to see if this can be reprogramed to fix this nusiance?
