I just bought a CR-V ( May 2008), model ADVANCE that includes bluetooth-Nav-.... The issue I'm experienced is that when my mobile is connected to the car I cannot access from the car to my phone list on the phone, than the bluetooth is only for receiving calls not to place a call to anyone of my phonelist. To make a call from the car I need to memorize one by one ( only 30 names total are accepted...very few) the names and numbers into the car and then I can call using vocal dialing. There is a way to make the call using the phone and then automatically the call pass to the car as is connected via bluetooth?...or there is a way to access to the phone phonelist vis touch screen?? Thanks a lot for any help |

Hi Folks: Just bought a brand new 2008 CRV EXL with Navigation. I like the car, but feel a bit frustrated to not have the Bluetooth capability or IPOD integration... How are you guys doing this? I read above a mention to "ADVANCE" model but never heard of it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Replying to: osasap (Aug 28, 2008 8:26 pm) Probably won't happen until new dual capable receivers hit the market. Although both are sattelite radios, they are not 100% compatible. The signal and encoding is different. |

Does anyone have any ideas how old the DVD is on the NAV system? I just boight a 2008 CR-V and I can't find my home address even though I moved to this new neighborhood over two years ago. What's the point of a nav system if it does not even have your home address? Additionally can these be updated to get local trafiic?
