Replying to: cmiller11 (Jun 23, 2008 9:59 pm) We bought a used GMC Yukon with only 13K miles that has tan leather Captain's chairs in the second row but we need to swap it out to have a bench seat. Would desire for it to be matching leather in great condition. Are interested in either buying the bench seat outright or trading the chairs that are currently in place. Love the bucket seats for two kids but just found out that we have a 3rd child on the way and really want all the kids in the middle row, where it seems the safest. Makes me nervous putting anyone one in the 3rd row as it is right there against the back window. I was going to go to the dealership and ask but your post saved me that trip! Do people or places trade bench seats for buckets?

No kids on my end, which is why we want the buckets! Dealerships won't install the seats because of the liability, so people trade them and just bolt them in. I went threw the same process. I have black leather....what color are yours?

And it is not Yukon XL? I'm having my third girl in three years. Neadless to say, the 2nd row buckes are not going to work well anymore. I have grey leather buckets. If you have any color leather bench you are willing to trade, please let me know!!

Just bought the vehicle. Is there someplace out there that sells aftermarket captain chairs that will fit in? Not wanting to spend what the dealer wants.
