Good day all   I have been experiencing a problem with my 2 door Pajero IO 1999/2000   I have been getting a noise (sounds like metal rubbing) when I turn slowly from a parking spot or when I am driving on a rough road which comes and goes my mechanic check it and stated that it seems to be ok and I don’t need any parts as yet but I am still hearing this noise which has me worried.   I would like to know if this is a serious problem and how I can resolve it.   Thank you. Hi James, I was wondering if you still have this problem. If not, can you please tell me how you solved it ? I have since 4 weeks my Montero IO and since 2 weeks this kind of noise in the front gear. Thanks a lot, Christian

Good Day All.   I need an evaporator (well two actually) for a late 1999 model Pajero iO a.k.a. Penin. The problem is I'm in the Caribbean and the only way to get this part is through the local Mistsubishi dealer who will - despite the existence of companies such as Fed-X - take six weeks to get the part in. The dash is out, the vehicle is down, it's bloody hot (96 degrees today) so I'm trying to source the part eleswhere. I spoke to a couple of dealers in Miami who seemed not to know anything at all about this vehicle - even sent a picture and they didn't receognise it -perhaps it's a Florida thing. Anyway, I'm looking for a reliable parts (new) dealer in the US - preferably on the east coast - that stocks parts for the iO. A free Rum & Coke to the first person that can help and happens to come to Barbados on vacation! Thanks.... MIKE TOY

I have imported my Pajero and need a DVD for my GPS that will show maps for the US. Any suggestions? I am also having trouble with the electronic display for the raido and GPS, where could I go to get service help/information in the Knoxville TN area?

Replying to: andy08 (Feb 17, 2008 7:16 am) You should be able to purchase a copy of the owner's manual from ebay. The manual will also indicate what type of transmission fluid to use. Also, you can pick up one of those repair manuals from any auto store (Autozone, Adavanced Auto, etc.). The repair manual will guide you though repairs step by step. They usually cost $20.
