New Box same Foot Breaker! by bensbenz300se

The foot well intrusion seems to be a Chrysler thing. I remember the first run Dodge Durango’s where plagued with the same issue. Fortunately accidents of this size are few and far between. Think about it. What’s as tuff and an oak tree or a crash wall? The only thing I can think of is my old Mercedes; which brings up the matter of Mercedes being the first automobile that inserted steel crash plates behind the foot well. So the big question that I have is why didn’t Jeep call their German cousins and ask for some steel foot well plates? Once you hit the $40K mark it’s my opinion that they should through them in! When it’s all said and done Chrysler products are still the only DOMESTIC vehicles I purchase or recommend.
