Ugh I see those things 10x per day here already. Not a pretty car. Perfect for the conservative (not necessarily politically) buyer who wants something seen as luxurious, but doesn't like cars nor driving them. That's one super supercamry.

Starts at $33,865 including $695 destination charge.
•Handling. Not razor sharp, though hardly flabby.

I replaced the sway bar bushings with firmer performance versions in my 03 Avalon for 30 bucks to bring back that quickness in handling. Fun to drive now. New performance struts go in next week due to age of stock units and anticipation of hauling fully packed load. I'm anxious to see the results. I would rather have a BMW, but the 5 series is smaller, twice the price, and I prefer FWD for winter, so I will tweak this up the best I can. Looks like it will come out close to what I want. Things can be done with any vehicle to make it suit you better.

Of course beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but if this car is what Healey says it is, my guess is that it will be much more appealing after a test drive. And, I have found that the model I walk past at new model introduction is the one I may like best months later.

Hi,

The Lexus is a fine car but GM will knock it off it's pedestal, that's the feeling I'm getting. With GM, when they have the will-they have the expertise!

Well, That's quite a statement. I would very much like to hear the reasoning behind it. I must be missing something. I'm assuming you said that after reading the 07 ES 350 review on the link above? GM certainly is improving, but that target is not stationary as the article states. I do hope you're right as I'm a shareholder.

Were 20 years and holding, so I'm guessing the will is missing. And that bunny rabbit just keeps scampering away. Little short steps don't match big agressive steps.

Mabye when I am older...and by them hopefully the styling will have evolved a little more. But at least it's not another imitation Mercedes!

since the talks have ended and the idea been squashed, isn't this topic dead?

Hm... good point I missed that, obviously. This one's toast, and saved for our offspring to read (but not to post in).
