Guys:

Did my first long drive in my galaxy black limited with 1000 miles on odo (currently 2700 miles) from Cincinnati to Jersey City and back via Penna turnpike. We invited my parents for the trip and they joined us.

Cincinnati to NJ heading east:

628 miles total, 6 people aboard (4 adults & 2 children) plus all the luggage for 1 week trip (900 lbs total including luggage)

24.2 mpg on plains with helpful tail winds
21.6 mpg on mountains with numerous ups, downs and twists.
All driving done at 75 mph on cruise control and 92F heat

NJ to Cinti heading west:

Strong headwinds, cloudy skies, averaged 22.4 mpg on plains and 20.8 mpg up in the mountains also in low 90's temperature.

Pleased overall. After coming back home I took my van to a car wash and grocery shopping for this week with wife and lo!! average went up to 26.2 mpg on a 40 mile hwy round trip

Sorry, forgot to add, I averaged exactly 19 mpg in downtown Jersey City and Staten Island NY with numerous traffic lights and crazy NY cabbies!! This was the average for over 200 miles downtown driving.

First road trip...So. Calif to NW Washington state. Our mileage greatly improved. Mid to high 20's overall. This car really runs nicely and has much more comfortable sitting than our other van.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my wife's Entourage on what turned out to be a fairly long trip. We traveled a busy route for the most part and took some hilly, windy roads for a section as well.

The on board computer registered 16.9 MPG and I thought this was fairly good. Considering having stop and go traffic for the majority of the trip and having to climb hilly roads - I rally couldn't expect more from this vehicle.

The car had about 900 miles on it when we did this trip.

I bought a Hyundai Entourage last april. The window sticker said I would get 18 miles in the city per gallon of gas. I know these numbers are not correct, so I expected about 16. So far I'm getting only about 11 and a half miles. I went to the dealer to see what could be wrong but after four days they said it was ok and the problem was my driving habits. I told them I was used to get better results with my previous cars, going to the same places and driving as I do now, but they repeated the car was ok. I am disappointed.

Just returned from long 2-week vacation last Saturday. Traveled from Maine to western PA and back, around 850 miles each way, plus local trips from the campground. Had about 1200 miles on the van when we left. Reset the trip computer at the start and it's now reading around 21.7 MPG after many highway miles at 70-80 mph, freighted with lots of camping gear.

I've gotten better MPG numbers (23-25 MPG) on the computer on local trips using state highways traveling between 50-60 mph.

Recently returned from a trip from Pa. to Kansas. Averaged about 25 mpg to and fro. Bought van in 6/06. It had about 17,000 to start and put on about 1,800 for the whole trip. Not bad, but, you would think they could do better. Had a 93 Buick Park Avenue that got 30 mpg on the highway. Whats up with that? Get about 17.5 around town on the hills of eastern Pa.

I did 2 - 500 mile trips the last 2 weekends, mileage was 22.7 - 24 mpg. With a 06 kia van that is heavy I'm not conplaining. Locally I'm getting what your getting and it might be on the same hills as you. I'm also from eastern PA.
