2003 LC with 30500 miles. Mostly city driving (short trips - 2~3 miles)in South Florida (A/C on all the time). Average between 14.5 and 15.5 mpg. I was using 5w30 Mobil 1 but changed to 10w30 Mobil 1 at the last oil change interval. No difference in mileage. Tires inflated to 30psi front and 31psi rears. I rarely push the tach past 2k RPM and I always try to coast to a red light.

With 285/75 BFG AT tires and a lift (inflation 35F 38R) I'm getting about 13.5 -14.5 mixed driving. On straight, flat Interstates using cruise control and 93 octane, I've gottne 20.2 a couple of times with 18-19 being fairly routine. And yes, coasting when ever possible sure helps. Saves gas AND brakes too.
While I've found no difference between 89 and 91 octane, I have seen mileage increase with 93 or 94 octane--both in town and on the highway. About 1mpg+

Around 9 miles a gallon on a 1991 machine. It used to get 14 - so age seems to matter.
