Anyone have any thoughts on how to shorten the NAV "start-up" time after you start the car? My '05 HAH NAV system takes approx. 23 seconds to warm up and during that time, I cannot start the A/C. This is not good on hot days!

I am looking for a way to bypass the horrendously annoying, useless as crap startup screen that wants your "OK" you are going to obey the law or be struck by lightning. Anyone come up with a workaround yet?

My HAH was an impulse buy, and let me say I'm extremely happy with my purchase!! I LOVE this car! I'd been driving a 2002 accord V6 and loved it, and had been researching the HAH since I first heard that it was coming out, including lurking here on this site. But I liked the look of the 2-door and was waiting for a few years to see if they came out with the "perfect" HAH for me. One day I went to have my 2002 serviced and (add inspirational angels singing) there was a HAH sitting on the lot in the color I wanted. I rushed right in to see how much I could get on a trade-in, telling myself that if they met my demands I would buy it. And here I am! My real question is this: Because I didn't seek out to find the exact car I wanted, I got one without navigation. Now I'm interested in getting it, but they don't sell it separately, only with a new car already installed. I found someone who's 2005 accord was totaled and they are selling the Nav system. Would this work in mine? BTW, I must admit that I'm falling in love with the look of my HAH as well as the convenience of having 4 doors! Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

We can save spending on something else to spend for that NAVI. It is a very interesting integration of a NAVI. and the audio. It saves you time and gas when it guides your trips at night in strange and remote cities. The Acura's NAVI. is an advanced Blue-Tooth one. I totally agreed with Dennis that the HAH is "a real piece of machinery". When it runs on highways all you can hear is it quietly purrs and stretches out its power effortlessly, real nicely. It turns, merges, accelerates, brakes, handle sharp curves...really impressively. I love it. "Real people drive real cars". Last year, the '05 HAH was rated number 1 sedan, this year the Civic is rated 1. Odyssey is # 1 in Minivan, the Ridgline is also # 1 in truck category. Every category has one Honda vehicle. One friend of mine said he's been driving so many different sport cars and now he settles with a '04 V6 Accord EX sedan. I do not any further arguments with him. Long live Honda ! You make my life happier behind a Honda wheel. As a technical and a "sophisticated/ demanded guy" I love Honda's preciseness, accuracy and ceaseless innovation on its cars/ trucks. "Real engineers/ management drive real pieces of sophisticated machinery like Honda". Cant compromise for less.
