im planning to purchase a midsize car in the next few years but i need some advice. im into racing so ill definitly be putting some mods such as suspensions and whatnot onto the car i purchase but id also like a reliable and safe car for a nice price at the same time. ive thought about the mazda6 but after researching for a long time i decided to stay away from it. it will be a family car so no manual transmission. would the purchase choice be different if i were to buy it new vs used? how? Good luck in your quest, but there's probably a reason performance modified Hyundais are about as scarce as hens' teeth... Replying to: zero1210 (Jun 26, 2006 4:37 pm) I wouldn't know much about the Sonata. I'd say test drive both and see what you like, but you'd give the salesman a pretty good scare if you really tested their performance. As far as the 3.5se engine goes, it's definitely mean!
