We just purchsed our CX-7 two months ago and we love it. I just figured mileage with the last two tanks. The first time it was 15.927, and the last time it was 16.62. The last one may not be entirely accurate because the tank was topped off. So far, I believe that the economy will be better than our previous crossover, which was a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica FWD.   I don't have any qualms with the CX-7 at all...well built, sporty, powerful.   I do plan to install a cold-air intake within a couple months. From the reviews I've read it will make the turbo sound more noticeable. Mazda put a rather restrictive air-box on the CX-7 and it diminshes that satisfying turbo sound. Replying to: svtfangs (Oct 27, 2008 9:14 am) 07' AWD ---at freeway speeds 70+ received 25.9 MPG. Using 91 premium. Would suggest having front end alligned,added 2+ mpg afterwards. Also, keep tire pressure 35~37 psi. replace air filter, change oil every 3~4000 miles.
