I had a 2005 TT coupe quattro 225
and consistently got over 30 mpg on a mix of highway and city driving. I was quite impressed!

My 1.8T Quattro consistantly gives between 33 and 34 mpg on the highway at 70 mph and that is with A/C on. Local driving yields about 25 with A/C. Could not be more pleased with the smooth performance and superb fuel mileage. Premium cost me $3.15 a gallon today. Ouch!

I'm with you on that. My gas here in MD is costing me 3.05 a gallon. I know it will be going up soon. I have a friend that uses the 89 octane. He tells me that his car runs well with it and he can't tell the difference. But, he also uses FP20 in his tank so I think that may have something to do with it. I am going to try this and maybe cut back on my fuel expenditures.

2001 Roadster in town about 22 MPG. Combo about 24 MPG. 75K miles. Going to check my O2 sensors soon. I'm at 6000 ft above sea level and use 85 octane (regular). No knock or performace problems. Wife uses 87. No difference. I ussually operate over 3K rpm and rev to 5K. Wife tends to not rev so high. I add the occassional Essentia-Lube treatment.

In my 2008 TT roadster I consistently get 25 to 28MPG using 93 octane gasoline. The car right now is highly modified for speed and sometimes I use an octane booster.I cannot be happier with the mix of performance and economy this automobile offers the sports car enthusiast.
