I live in New Jersey and find it impossible to get a IS250 RWD with a automatic in this state. How far do you have to go to get one? I even called Lexus of Silver Spring's in Maryland and cannot get one there. Have people in Virginia gotten one? North Carolina?

They have the ability to look at what is coming into port directly, and if not pre-sold, get a particular car diverted for you. You may be limited with some options, but this is one way to get a car close to what you may want.

I have a G35 and was thinking of getting the IS this lease-go-round, but I've been just completely baffled by the lack of 350s with luxury package availability. It seems all I can find is one or two pieces of the packages, and I'm rather loath to buy a $40K car that lacks something as basic as memory seats.   At any rate, dealer thinks he's found a 2008 with luxury that he can get (500 miles away). Not sure I should gamble and hope for a 2009 with such options. Anyone who's been through this before, what do you think? Replying to: davidsigep (Oct 01, 2008 3:29 pm) I was just in to the dealer today for service and chatted with the sales guy .... and was amazed to find out that all their 2008 350's, and their allotments of ISF's, where sold out long ago. ..... and not being successful, try to get Lexus Corporate involved. Sometimes they will send a top tech out for a particular issue that a dealer is having a problem with.
