Good deal, how often does something like that happen? Those are the rims that came on my SXT,it was one of the things that attracted me to the car.It was a $325 option which I think is cheap.Plus I hear the Goodyears you got are great for these cars.I think you'll feel a differance on your ride for the better.Good luck, let us know how it looks and rides.

Replying to: xtec (Aug 23, 2006 9:50 am) The look? N-I-C-E. I didn't think going from 17" to 18" rims would look that much different, but it does. Also, the polished chrome really stands out. When I wen't back to the GoodYear dealer, he said it was $660 "installed", not Out-The-Door. So it was Tax on top of this, but still lower then two other quotes I had for the same tire. I am very happy. I will be Estatic if I can just sell the stock rims/tires now... I am going to remove the "Charger" and "SXT" lettering on the trunk this weekend...

No one has posted for a month there! Have people stopped buying? With employee pricing, I would think that the Charger would sell since it's one of the few 4 door sedan with balls! An SE is going for $21K and I found a R/T with Electronics convenience package, sunroof, and Sirus radio going for $28k! I never thought a HEMI would sell under $30k! What would be my chances for haggling an SE for around $20k?

| I am pretty close to pulling the trigger and purchasing a Dodge Charger R/T soon, but I was wondering when the 07's will be coming out. Have any of y'all heard? I have seen where the "Superbee" version will be coming out in 07 but nothing on 07 Dodge Charger R/T. What changes if any can be expected with the 07? | |

I drove a Mini Cooper S last week! My mind is now made up! I used to race sports cars when I was younger, but I've never driven any car that handles like a new Mini! Of course, it's lots smaller than a Charger, but the cockpit is amazingly roomy and easy for an old guy like me to get into and out of. My wife probably won't ride in it, but she won't ride in the Chrysler 300M I drive now. When we go somewhere together, we always have to go in her Suburban (she has a bad back and the chair height seats in the Suburban don't hurt her back). So if you happen to see a broadly grinning old fart driving a Mini around the Dallas area, it's probably me! Lynn Flowers McKinney, Texas |
