...with car names, but I doubt the cars come from those towns. Pontiac was named for the Indian chief, but I don't think Pontiacs are built there. There is a Cadillac, Michigan - named for the explorer, but I doubt Caddies are built there.

DeLorean - Dunmurry, Northern Ireland
Hindustan Motors - Uttarpara, West Bengal, India
Mahindra - Mumbai, India
I can think of a few others but lunch hour is almost up.

Bugattis were built in Molsheim, Alsace-Lorraine so they were French cars built by an Italian in a city with a German name.

That's kind of like two different office building areas that I've made calls in: (building numbers aren't correct as it's been a long time since I've been to either location)
- 29999 East Northwestern Highway in Southfield, Michigan
- 250 South Northwest Highway in Park Ridge, Illinois
Yeesh, who does this stuff?

No GM plants in Cadillac Michigan lemko. Actually Cadillac was born in Detroit. Pontiacs are made in Lansing, Canada, and Australia for the most part.
