Replying to: destry (Jul 20, 2008 3:39 am) At 300 miles on a tank you are averaging 24 mpg. That seems a little low, but that would depend on how the car is being driven. If it is all city driving then 24 mpg would be about right. I average about 27 mpg with a mixture of city and road driving. I filled up yesterday ($43.00) Premium Gas and I am going re-check my MPG with a combined driving in the city and highway. I don't drive my car rough or fast and I don't rush it at a stop light, so let's see how it does?

I have a 91 Miata and ever since i had the clutch checked I've been gettin a wierd sound coming from the front of the car on the drivers position. And it only happens when i have the clutch released but as soon as i push the clutch in the sounds goes away. the sounds is like a wierd like a cop blowing on his whistle but nos as loud as that it self. I have tried different mechanics and they say they repaired it but after like an hour of driving the noise comes back. its really annoying because I love this car and i want it to be in perfect condition even though its old. Replying to: crim1 (Aug 03, 2008 7:57 pm) Whistle? Must be an air leak somwhere.   You think it's clutch related? I ask because the clutch system is hydraulic, and sealed, too. I would bleed the old fluid out (it just uses brake fluid) but I kind of doubt that's what is whistling.

i have an 07 miata. excellent toy with one minor flaw... i just saw water in the trunk and behid seat. could somone tell me where it's possibly coming from and what should i do aside from taking it to the shop. Replying to: redbarako (Aug 19, 2008 4:53 pm) Your drain holes are stopped up. There are numerous posts on this forum about this and how to clear them. No need to take to the dealer. You can do it yourself.
