Well, we decided to pass on that other Miata. Instead, we found a 2006 Grand Touring with just over 4k miles, one owner, loaded up with standard, premium package, satellite radio already in, spoiler, silver with saddle leather interior for $18,850. This is essentially a new car. Any thoughts on this? Thanks again, and am looking forward to joining the Miata fan club.

We got our 2006 Grand Touring (silver with saddle, standard) on Saturday. It was supposed to be a third car that my wife would drive to work periodically. However, her Acura MDX hasn't been touched since getting the Miata home! Wow, what a car!

I have a question about gas mileage? I am averaging 300 miles on a full tank of gas! How about everyone else?

I filled up yesterday ($43.00) Premium Gas and I am going re-check my MPG with a combined driving in the city and highway. I don't drive my car rough or fast and I don't rush it at a stop light, so let's see how it does?

I have a 91 Miata and ever since i had the clutch checked I've been gettin a wierd sound coming from the front of the car on the drivers position. And it only happens when i have the clutch released but as soon as i push the clutch in the sounds goes away. the sounds is like a wierd like a cop blowing on his whistle but nos as loud as that it self. I have tried different mechanics and they say they repaired it but after like an hour of driving the noise comes back. its really annoying because I love this car and i want it to be in perfect condition even though its old. Thanks in advance for your help

Replying to: crim1 (Aug 03, 2008 7:57 pm) You think it's clutch related? I ask because the clutch system is hydraulic, and sealed, too. I would bleed the old fluid out (it just uses brake fluid) but I kind of doubt that's what is whistling. |
