I just bought a 2007 Miata and it is currently in the shop for the second time having a leak repaired. The first one I found when I jumped in my car and put my foot in a puddle. The second occured after washing the car. I found a puddle in the trunk and behind the drivers seat. The first time I was told it was a plugged drain. I find out tomarrow what the problem now is. I'm worried it's a design flaw that may not be able to be fixed. Anyone have any ideas?

I have a 2006 Maza MX-5 with a 6 speed automatic transmission with 11,000 miles. I have noticed when driving on a hot day or in heavy traffic, the car looses low end acceleration. The car just boggs down. Usually after about 45 minutes of driving. It almost feels like vapor lock, but it's not. It has done this since I bought it. I thought it was the AC, but it still does it with the AC off. I have been using 93 octane. I tried 91 octane and the same problem. I took it back to the dealer and they could not find the problem. They checked the ignition system and could not find any problems. Has anybody else had this problem? I need help to instruct the dealer on how to fix.

Best time, average time, the autos were quicker, across the board. Sure, maybe a pro can squeeze more out of the manual, and I agree they're certainly more fun, but on that day, on that track, the automatic KILLED the manual every time, it was just embarassing.
