The dealer quoted me $3,200 for taxes and first month, $750/ month. With the $3,200 wrapped in would be $823. I was apparently given the conquest rebate because I currently own an infiniti M35 and considering the A6. Does this sound like a good deal or can they do better. The best way to evaluate this deal is to take a look at the selling price that the dealer is charging you for the A6 that you are interested in. Ok, so after three fabulous years with my A6 (Quatro, Nav, Wooden Wheel, 18" Wheels - which I don't love) I am facing a dilemma. My residual is about 29K (36K miles on her and in good shape). Manheim shows similar models selling at auction for around $20K. Dealer does not seem like they are willing to negotiate. Was paying slightly under $700/mo (no money down - taxes rolled in). I don't want to finance past an extended warranty of 3 years and don't want payments to go up either.   So first, one, is there a chance that I get get this one for around $22K with the 300pt inspection as it would hit my number.   Also, looked at a loaded A4 and also Q5 - both are slightly tighter across the rear bench. I have 3 kids that need to occasionally ride together without bumping into each other too harshly. Audi seems to have a good lease program right now for these two but not for the 2009 A6.   Wood love to stay in the Audi camp but need space and value. The supped up Q5 is nice (great cup holder) but will top out above where I currently am. That said, I love the A6 which currently configured would be way higher than what I pay monthly.   I guess if the price was right, I would simply keep my current wooden wheeled 06 A6. Replying to: rstoerger (May 27, 2009 1:55 pm) First year model on new A6 = no lease deals. So if warranty is 4 years 50k mi. continue your lease for one more year and see about deals next year. A4 will be too small for you it seems. If not it is bigger then previous models and has deals out there so good backup option. Do not think your gonna get the car for $22k. If you could then do it. Remember warranty will run out and maintainance will cost$. Factor that in to price.Had an A6 for 6 yeras once spent about $5k in repairs in the last three years. Good Luck! Replying to: mishmash1 (May 27, 2009 4:11 pm) Mishmash1, thanks for the honest answer. Spent some time tonight checking things out. It seems Mercedes is offering great deals on 2009 E Class. I did some quick math but with Prem, Nav, Leather, Wood Trim and even a Wood Wheel, I could come in under my current monthly, and that would be for 0/0/0 down - taxes in and for a full 48 months - which I would be just fine with. Unless a Q5 prices strong, I think I will be off to MB...the deal on E's is very strong (if it lasts and if I can find the car).   Alternately, I have considered holding on to the A6 for a month or two to see what else is out there. Big question here is if I get some additional millage should I extend or do they assume I still have miles available to burn.

Trying to decide between a 2006 A6 S-line package, fully loaded for $30k (only 25k miles) or going brand new '09 A6 3.0T, but would need the Prestige package. I do like driving something different every few years, so would be leasing the '09... the '06 would be flipping in 2 years or so. Does anyone have the current residual value and money factor for June from Audi Financial for a 36-month lease, 12k miles and/or 15k miles. There's pretty much no fine print so I can only assume that it's for the absolute base model of the A6.   What do you think. Is it a good deal? Or do you think it's a B&S scam?   The reason I say this is because I went to this same dealership a couple years ago and they tried to rip me off by trying to give me a car that was $2000 in MSRP over advertised car I came to see, offered to take my current car as trade-in for a couple thousand, but yet increasing the monthly payment and the down payment substantially. It was a pretty bad experience but whatever, maybe I'll encounter a different salesperson?
