Do you know the money factor and residual for an A4 quattro sedan, 3 years and 15k miles?
I have an MSRP of $36,735 and sales price of $34,530. He said if I put $2k down, my payments would be $475.
Also, can you explain me how it works if you have equity in your car at lease end. If I trade in my car to another dealer (like BMW), can they do the payoff directly to Audi? So if it's a $20k payoff and BMW offers $23k, can they pay it off directly without paying taxes? Or do I have to pay it off, pay taxes and then trade it in to BMW? I have read various things about Audi's lease policy. Thanks, Car_man!

Car_man or anyone,
I have never leased a vehicle before and I am planning to lease an Audi A4 with prestige package(just because it has navigation and rear view camera). Can anyone tell me where can I get the best deal. I don't have a problem having only 10K miles per year on that. Please suggest me a good dealer in Northern Virginia area and how to get better discounts and APR rates.

Got the A4 quattro with lighting and convenience package last week.
$38,150 MSRP
$34,861 sales price
plus $850 for audicare
15k miles and 3 years
55% residual value
0.00064 money factor
Audi paid first month payment
$1,000k down total
$501 a month
Payments include TTL (live in Texas)
I had to negotiate the money factor -- one dealer admitted .00064 was the base rate, but that they marked it up to 0.00128.

Hello tank12. Audi Financial Services' December buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 A4 Sedan Premium Plus quattro with 15,000 miles per year are .00064 and 54%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.
If you have a significant amount of equity in your vehicle you might be able to use that to your advantage in negotiations with a different dealer at lease-end, but don't assume that is going to happen because it usually is not the case.

Greetings madhureloaded. I don't know any specific Virginia dealers that are good, but I can tell you how leasing works. Since you are new to leasing, you definitely should check out the following informative articles on the subject that are available here at Edmunds.com: 10 Steps to Leasing a New Car and Calculate Your Own Lease Payment.
In short, the easiest way to get a good deal on a leased vehicle is to shop around for the lowest possible selling price and then have the dealer that you decide to go with calculate your vehicle's monthly payment using its buy rate lease money factor.

Hi bajaudia4. Please see my previous posts for the information that you are looking for. Audi Financial Services' residual values for leases with 12,000 miles per year are 2% higher.

Hi Car_man,
This my first time leasing a car. I am looking to lease Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Tiptronic in Seattle, WA area.
Below are specs.
Ext. Color: Phantom Black Pearl Effect
Int. Color: S Line Black
Audi Connect
IPOD Cable for Audi Music Interface
S Line Sports Package
Prestige Package
Dealer Gave me following figures
Estimated Total MSRP $48670
Residual Value: 49%
Money Factor is 0.00124.
Miles/Year 10000
Does this sound correct? Based on your previous posts looks like Money factor is way too much? Right?
Thanks
Mav.
