Hello, Since all of you most likely own a mazda 3 you can feel my pain with the stereo. I have an 08 3 i Touring. What are my options for a stereo? I have a 6 disc but would like an after market navigation stereo system. The stereo in this car is so odd shaped...can I get a fit kit that won't look like crap? What happens to the area above the stereo that displays your mileage and radio station etc....does it just become inopperable? Does anyone have any pictures of a system they have put in? Also, I have been told I have to have a special set up for a remote start...is there any way around this?   Thanks!

Is it possible to install the Bose system in an 08 Touring? Just curious as I have the touring and would like to upgrade the stereo but would like to avoid the (sometimes) ugly aftermarket fit kits.   Any thoughts? Have you listened to the Bose system? I ask because I have the Bose system in my 07 3 and the sound is good but certainly not great. Replying to: roadburner (Jan 30, 2008 8:42 am) Just barely got a taste of the bose, it is definitely better than the stock equipment. I think I'm going to do just that. Especially since the doors already have cut outs for a component set up.   Thanks for the info from what else I've been reading, its way too expensive and not worth the payout for the Bose setup.   Cheers!
