Hi all, Lots of great discussion regarding this vehicle. I used Edmunds forums and other buyer's experiences to lease my '06 Maxima awhile back and look forward to the same when purchasing my '08 RX350. I'd like to hear if anyone has had any experience in purchasing this or any vehicle through Fleet Sales. I spoke with a Fleet agent in Los Angeles (I'm in Seattle) and he is willing to sell me an '08 RX350 with Prem + for $100 over invoice. I'm interested in leasing and he said that they go through various sources to acquire the lowest money factors possible. I would have to pay for shipping to get the car here, but no problem as I haven't been able to get a local dealer anywhere near invoice on this car. Does anyone have experience in dealing with Fleet? Can anyone tell me the current money factor and residual that Lexus is offering for a 12K and 15K 36mo term lease so I have something to compare with? If the lease is offered through someone other than Lexus (or TFS), how does turning that vehicle back in to the dealer at lease end work (assuming I decide to do that)? Thank you everyone, Jason |

I generally purchase "regular" gas from BJ's, they don't offer a mid-grade; and have had no problems. I do use an occasional tank of mid-grade if it is offered when I buy gas elsewhere. Pete |

Hi everyone, I found this forum very helpful and I am looking to buy 08 RX 350 within 2 weeks in Dallas Texas area. 2008 RX 350 FWD Premium plus navigation package. Visit a local dealer and got a OTD price for $42800 is it a good deal? or how low can I go from here? Also what is the advantage for "The Lexus Summer Sales Event" if I buy a Lexus before Sep 4? Did not see any rebate or discount mention on Lexus website. just "You are cordially invited to The Event....to spend MONEY ? " Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks to all for this very helpful forum!

The finance rate is predicated upon your credit score and the amount finance. The rate will be any where from the low 6% to mid 7% range' Another said 'This Event sale gives you some very aggressive lease rates on the RX 350's. It also insures our best sale pricing.' Not very specific, but the best I can add. |

Hi: When I purchased my RX 350, a week ago, the delaer was pushing hard to sell a protection package for 5 years for an amount of $1,025 (discounted from $1,295). This will cover any dings, dents, scratches etc to the exterior and any cuts, rips, stains to the interior. However, there is a $100 deductible for every use of this plan and the owner is eligible to use the plan any number fo times for five years. I thought this is a good deal, as we are sure to get some dings and scrathes (may not be your fault)in the parking lots in 5 years. Please comment if anyone has taken any such protection plans. Thanks. |
