Hi, I have not got my vehicle yet (will be here next Saturday). I think I will be happy with the new one as I currently have an older RX350 and I have test driven the new model. I know these options are expensive. Some of them are probably good such as leather seats others are probably not that useful. But if you want a dealer to order one for you, other than the long wait, not sure what kind of price you can get. If you can wait and like the car, I would say it is worth waiting assuming you can get a good price. Right now, it is very hard to negotiate in MN.

Both my 99 RX300 and 97 RX350 were cheerfully special ordered by my dealer after I had negotiated an acceptable price. Wait time in each case was about two months as I recall, however neither was a true "base model" devoid of all options!

Mass dealerships by lexmass

Recently purchased a 2010 RX350 w/premium for $5,350 below invoice. Lexus of Watertown was helpful, straightforward and didn't misrepresent anything; they received my business (Emma, Michael deserve recognition). Fully negotiated over phone, before meeting anyone. Excellent buying experience.

By comparison, Herb Chambers was okay, Ira Danvers was horrible/suspicious, and Northboro was okay (but not competitive).

"$5,350 below invoice."

Maybe you mean below MSRP??? Still a great deal, but below invoice is extremely hard to believe.

What was the MSRP? Any secrets as to how you negotiated this price?

I assume a paperwork fee was in addition-how much?

Thank you.

Lexmass,

Could you share more info about your purchase? Like what options? MSRP? What was your purchase price before TTL? I am also looking to buy a 2010 RX350, and was thinking to wait till late of year to get a good deal. Your deal sound extremely good. Would like to know more. Appreciate!

Picked up an 2010 RX350 ($48.1K) for $3K below MSRP. Residual: 59% MF: .002550
$682 + Tax for 36 months/36K miles lease, with first month payment down. This is in Seattle.....best based on the area. I could have done better in CA, then the hassle of transportation.

Is the cargo mat option (CI) a carpeted mat or a rubber mat?

I also have read the comparison tests on the Lexus RX350 and the
Volvo XC60, which also included the Audi Q5 and the Mercedes
G350. The Volvo was looking good on most everything except for
gas mileage. It got the worst mileage of all the vehicles in the test.
But I suspect that even the 2010 RX is not going to get less gas
mileage than the 2007 thru 2009 RX models due to the weight gain.

Who did you deal with in Freehold Ray Catena? I'm in very similar situation as you. I also have trade in 2004 RX330 with 55K miles - no accidents and very good condition. they offered me $14K for it. I believe it is too low. Also I'm looking for exactly the same car as you (only lease) They offer me the selling price $44,700..

I do not think it is a good deal at all..
