Surely... I bought mine from Herb chambers lexus in Norwood, MA. Its right off of exit 9 on I-95. Additionally I went there the last day of the month. That really helped. And generally dealers would be more willing to make a deal on something they already have in their inventory than something they have to order. Not that you should compromise on your color or option selection, but sometimes it might mean a huge discount. I didnt want the 19" wheels but went with it since this was such an awesome deal.

bond8,
Thanks for the info. I'll go and check at that dealership and hopefully get a deal before the sale tax goes up!

Thank you. The only thing I can figure is they may have sold $800 below invoice, but made up the difference and more by meeting quotas and bonuses.

To the other individuals shopping/purchasing in MA (where I am located) any experience with the other dealers?

Exactly, there are some bonuses associated with meeting quota targets. If a sale puts them over the edge it is absolutely possible. Secondly, remember that the invoice cost is much different from dealer cost. Even at my price they did make a profit.

2010 RX350 Accessory Options by smarty666

Hi, I was thinking of getting a 2010 RX350 AWD with the premium package for around $43,265 and some change. The only item this equipped vehicle doesn't come with that I would really like to have is Xenon HID headlights. Lexus makes it difficult that in order to get them in the comfort package you also have to get the nav and stereo package pushing the price up to almost $47,000 and I don't want the navigation system. In the 2010 brochure the HID Xenon lights are listed as a option extra so I wanted to know if it is possible to pay the service department and have Lexus put them in after the fact? Will Lexus allow you to do this? Any information would be greatly helpful and pricing figures might be helpful.

I suggest calling the local Lexus service dept and asking them?

Thanks for your trusting, but I'm a little busy and not use to do it. Just try to base on the invoice and start negotiate at under the invoice and more up a little by little. I think the dealers from MD are easy deal than the one from VA. You can read another comment from MA, who bought couple hundred $ under the invoice. Good luck.

This forum really helped me get an idea.

Sharing the same for anyone looking for the same.

RX2010 350 with the following options { CP, ER, EY, FT, PM, TO, WU, CI, GN, WL }.
MSRP 50525.
Dealer Invoice:45342

Got the selling price at 44999
Sales Tax 3149.93
NJ Tire 7.5
Reg/Title 399
Doc fee 249
NJ Online fee 7.5
Total ( Out the door ) 48,811.93

I also read www.carbuyingtips.com ( wonderful website ) .

From the first moment, after I had placed my enquiry through edmunds' Ray Catena of Monmouth was the first to reply with a realistic price quote. And they were the best among the 4 dealers that I talked to. All negotiation done over the phone and mail. I do recommend "Mr. Bob" from this dealer. Straight, no monkey business and no surprises.

Regards,
Misos

What was your approach to purchase below invoice? I am impressed with the individuals who are able to purchase under invoice.
