Car has had no problems and they seem to have an outstanding service department (at a price, of course). There are many Lexus dealers in the DC area - try to contact all their internet sales persons and run a competition. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Good luck with your purchase.

Still waiting on a few other dealerships to give me their quotes. What does everyone else think? Anyone else in VA recently purchase and finance one? Thanks for any help in advance. |

I purchased a 2010 RX350 AWD with premium + comfort + nav (MSRP $46766) over the weekend. Here is my buying experience: I read the posts on this web site and have gotten the invoice prices from Edmunds and CR. I set my target at $42K + tag + taxes. I contacted five Lexus dealerships by emails in Washington DC area. I went to two of them to test drive. Most negotiations were done by phone and internet. They all started to say it was below their invoice prices and no body would sell at this price. They would like to have around $43K. I told them my sources support the actual invoice was $800 (before the holdback) below my offer. Three of them relented and came down in price. Their best prices were $42000, $41900 and $41700. I ultimately purchased from the one at $41900. This dealer has the most convenient location for me and I had purchased my previous RX from it 10 years ago. The dealer offered at $41700 did not have the color I liked and I would have had to wait for two weeks to get one. Overall, it was a good experience. I think I did pretty well on this purchase. Thanks for this web site. I am very happy about this RX, especially the navi system. I have a Honda Odyssey with nav and I think this 6th generation navi is even better. Good luck everyone on your purchase.
