Replying to: si2009 (Jul 02, 2009 3:40 pm) When I built your car on Edmunds site the MSRP was 44,393 and that does not include the cargo mat, cargo net and wheel locks. Those would increas the MSRP to 44,618. Any idea why the difference ? Also where there any dealer fees in addition to taxes, tags, and registration? Thanks again |

Hello, Purchased a 2010 RX350, AWD, Nav, Premium Pkg, Comfort Pkg, Wood & Leather, 12 speaker premium audio for Nav, Tow Prep Pkg, 19' wheels. MSRP was 47,285 (including 875.00 delivery, dest. charge). Paid 43,730. Financed balance after trade at 5.5% for 60 months. This was at Kuni Lexus in Littleton, Colorado. Best regards, Bob |

| Got $2750 off of vehicle with MSRP of $47,266. Could have done better in a larger market but no one else had Park Assist and wouldn't have had "Lexus Experience". Vehicle had comfort, premium, nav. Also, was in a hurry. Nice vehicle so far, but lots of gizmos! Thanks to all that posted...big help. Know I didn't get the best price possible but feel I acted with more understanding of what was possible than otherwise would have been possible without this forum. One lingering question I have is just what dealer cost really is. Various sites cite different amounts including a $14 report I ordered from Consumer reports which shows over $6k including $700 holdback. Lowest shown was about $4k. Many showed about $5500. Happy shopping and good luck. | |

Thanks to people who contributed their experience. Greatly helped me with negotiating my new purchase. Bought the 2010 RX350 last Saturday with AWD, Nav, Premium Pkg, Comfort Pkg, Wood & Leather, 12 speaker premium audio for Nav, Tow Prep Pkg, cargo, wood knob, remote starter for $42,350. MSRP was $47.2K (minus the remote starter was $46,825), I had offered $42K (minus the remote starter) to three different dealers in central NJ and no one came back with an offer except Ray Catena in Oakhurst. Great guys to work with, had the selection to chose the colors (got black and black). Everything was done over tthe internet/phone so by the time I got there, car was ready to be picked up. Highly recommend this dealership.

Hi: I am about to sign the following lease and need to know if it's fair. 2010 RX 350 10k miles per year $43,285 list $39,800 sell $585.00 per month $1804.00 out of pocket to include $585 first month, $700 bank fee, $274.00 motor vehicle, $238.00 documentation, and the balance is tire tax. I have never leased a lexus so I am not sure if all the fees are standard. Please advise as soon as possible as I must make a decision in the morning. Thanks, JON from NJ

Replying to: si2009 (Jul 03, 2009 6:39 pm) I am still working on deals and pricing around, also my friend is doing the same as we are both looking for the same options. He got an offer right off the bat for $42.8 from Bayridge so I may actually end up leaving the Catena dealerships after years of dealing with them. Waiting to the end of the month is definitely the way to go because they want those sales in that monthly count. I am looking to trade in my current RX2004 or was going to sell it on my own since the dealer really lowballed my truck trade in value. Good deal to sell your old one and drive off the new one same day, perfect planning. Lot of luck |

I'm in the market for a certified pre-owned RX350. I've located several in the central to eastern PA area. All are 2009 models with 13K-18K miles. Most of the asking prices from four different dealers are in a very narrow range of about $36,000 - $37,000. What should I pay for one of these vehicles in an all-cash deal? Based on other research I'm considering opening with an offer about 8% to 10% below the dealer price. Am I in the ballpark? I'll appreciate any advice based on your experiences. Thanks. |
