Hi si 2009

Thanks for the info. One other ? did you get the wood steering wheel and shift knob? Sounds like you got a geat car. How do you like it so far? Was the salesman/dealership easy to deal with? If so what were the salesmans initials (no aloud to list Name).
Thanks so much .

Just took delivery of my third RX, a 2010 AWD w/Nav, Premium, Comfort, wood wheel/knob, tow pkg, auto start...and I'm all man. First was an '04. Back then the target customer was female. Today's RX features sheet metal that is more muscular, a firmer ride...and technology that is gender neutral but very appealing.

How do you compare your previous RX vehicles with the redesigned 2010? I am driving a 2001, works great, and I am debating if I want to purchase a 2010.

Also, what was the MSRP and final price, excluding taxes, fees etc of your new vehicke.?

Thank you.

Hi, degirl and chrisny

I have wood steering. Mine is black. I love it. The salesman/dealership were very nice and helpful. I worked with SS. He even helped me setup my phone-pairing function. I love that feature. He also helped me get better loan rates. Great experience with them! I called other dealers. Freehold's offer is the best one I could get. I sold my old car on last Saturday. Actually I was in a rush to get a new car. So I end up delivering my old car and getting my new car in NJ at the same day!

My first RX was an '04 and I found the car to be reliable, comfortable, predictable and not very exciting. I was coming out of a BMW X-5 which is much more truck-like. I really never considered any thing else to replace the '04 but the new iteration of the RX. I liked the look, the nav system was upgraded and, again, the car proved to be highly reliable, excellent on gas mileage (for such a large vehicle), comforatlbe, predictable...and not very exciting. Coming to the end of my lease I looked seriously at the M-B 350GLK, the Volvo XC60 and the Audi Q-5. I loved the Q-5, liked the Volvo and was not very excited about the M-B. I drove the 2010 RX and noticed that it was larger (higher ,longer, wider), offered a firmer yet still comfortable ride, was a great deal more responsive in handling, and generally more exciting. I got in on the RX lease retention program and pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did. The new interface with nav, audio, climate, etc. is nothing short of brilliant. The interior is well laid out and I find it attractive. Gas mileage has improved slightly and so has accelleration. I like the 55/80 cubes of available cargo, highest in class, and the new more masculine look. I have no reason to expect anything less than the mechanically reliable Lexus experience. As to the finances, MSRP was $47,100 with Comfort, Premium, Premium Audio,Nav, Tow Prep, Wood steering/shift knob, cargo net, remote start and wheel locks. Final agreed upon cap cost was $44,052. 36/12,000 lease at $614.

Hi si 2009

When I built your car on Edmunds site the MSRP was 44,393 and that does not include the cargo mat, cargo net and wheel locks. Those would increas the MSRP to 44,618. Any idea why the difference ?
Also where there any dealer fees in addition to taxes, tags, and registration?

Thanks again
