Lexus RX 350, Car Buying, SUV

Does anybody know for sure if the financing rate Lexus gives through Lexus Financial Services is negotiable?
I'm looking to buy a certified pre-Owned 2007 RX 350 and they tell me the rate for 60 months is 5.9%. I know I can make it a short-term loan to receive the 2.9%, but I would rather keep the loan for 60 month.
I also know I could check out a couple of banks, which I did, to get a better rate. Bank of America's rate is 0.09% less, but has a $200 application fee and a slew of other hoops to jump through. AAA rates are good too, but again there are a bunch of hoops.
Also, for what it's worth, I have great credit.
Thanks in advance!!!

I wonder if they made their money on your trade in. What was your trade in and how much did they give you for it.

Trade was not part of the price discussion. Once we agreed on the purchase price I told them I had a vehicle to trade.

Pentagon Federal credit union offers 3.99 % financing for 60 mos new or used vehicles. If you don't qualify for membership you can join for $25.00.

Yes, destination charges were already included. The only thing not included was tax, title, license and $249 documentation fee.

Anyone have any experience buying from Pohanka Lexus in Chantilly or Lindsay in Alexandria? Pohanka acts as if they are doing you a favor to offer $1000 off MSRP.
Also, not sure I understand how they are doing pricing these days. If the MSRP is $46825 and includes the $825 transportion charge, how is it any kind of deal to say it's $1000 off and then tell you the new price is plus Taxes, tags, transportaion and doc fees?? Seems like it's only $175 off.

MSRP includes the $825 so, it seem to me the new price should not include an additional transportation charge. Also, a $1000 off, based on earlier posts, is not a good discount.

I don't qualify for PenFed's membership since I'm not in the geographic area. However, I did find that a local credit union has a rate of 4.49%, much better than Lexus’s 5.9% for 60 mo.
I still wonder if Lexus's rates are adjustable.
