Can you share how you call their bluffs to get to the $37k with NAV? Did you get the F/AWD? (Sorry, I can't call it an AWD in my good conscience as it's not a full time AWD)
I was told this much for their demo with 3000 miles in it.

Do any lexus web sites list New Inventory? by gregd1

Hello,
I have been looking at many Lexus dealer's web sites. And none seem to show their new inventory. They display used inventory. But no new.
Has anyone seen a Lexus dealer's web site that lists new inventory?

thanks

Hey soonercat,
Are you sure about that 59% residual? That's actually a very favorable 3 year figure as most vehicles are now listed in the low 50% to high 40% range for 3-year residuals (typically based on 10K or 12K miles per year). Many manufacturers were bitten pretty hard with lease returns that had a market value well under the buyout price, so they reacted by reducing the residuals. A residual of 59% could save you about $80/month compared to a 52% residual for a new RX (using their standard .00275 money factor and guessing at a typical price). Then again, it is a 2010 model and it is still early 2009 on my calendar, so maybe that's figured into the 59% figure.

I too got a great deal on an '09 RX 350 (no nav) at Lexus of Rockville. I worked with Sam, and he was great. Definitely gave me a better feeling than many of the other shadier dealers out there.

I agree with you on this one. the new 2010 looks aggressive and doesn't look so-soccer-mom-ish. it looks alot better in person than in pic. if they clean up the rear in 2011 and add some wood in the interior, i might take a bite.

X6 on the other hand looks very cramped in the back and with even less cargo space than rx. just from pics, it looks like rear passengers will have to duck their head when they sit.

if i had to choose, i'd pick the rx over x6

But still, women choose it more then men do, or should I add, ladies buy all kinds of suvs, these days, I've seen them driving LX570 ,x6 v8s to cayenne turbos.

Yes, the X6 doesn't have enough space at the back, but no1 buys an x6 for cargo space.

A 6 ft tall guy can easily fit in the back of the x6, if you don't believe me, go see for yourself.

If you need rear seat passengers in comfort, RX is the way to go, otherwise, the X6 driving experience is amazing

Go to the research vehicle page and next to the vehicle picture is a link to "check inventory". Plug in your specs and it will search for you. Good luck.

59% is correct, dealer was bragging this to me as high and good for me. I am not so thrilled to pay 41% depreciation plus interest for driving a $47,000 car for three years. A residual of $27,730 would be OK if the dealers were discounting significantly to say $43,000 for a NAVI. I agree BMW lowered theirs in light of recent hits. I lease a 2007 328i stick that has a residual of $26,000 (63% of MSRP)after 3 years, but I got a significant discount on top of that, plus a low money factor.
You can buy one right now for $22,000. The lexus has a high MF and little discount. I figure $800 per month with a zero down lease on one with taxes included. Plus if you purchase the taxes are deductable for 2009 while lease taxes are not deductable. One advantage of leasing is, no future worry if economy collapses. However, not sure the advantage of anything in that scenario. Just some thoughts...
