Yes Charles, I do. My previous one was a 1999 RX300 with FWD and Trac so I had no hesitation at all about ordering a second one the same way. Previous to that I drove various 4x4s for about 25 years. E-mail me if you would like the name of my salesperson at Dorschel in Rochester, Northtown has let me "walk" twice now!

DO NOT GET FWD IF YOU LIVE IN THE BUFFALO AREA! If you're going to BUY the car, you'll also get a better resale value when you go to sell the vehicle with AWD.

I live in San Diego now and will be purchasing the FWD model. I used to live in Ithaca, NY and four wheel drive saved my life.

Price quote from southern California dealer by xando05

I just received a quote from a San Diego dealer for a 2007 RX 350 FWD(Made in Canada). $39,864 is the price WITHOUT tax and misc fees. The MSRP is 44,123 WITHOUT tax and misc fees.

The equipment includes, NAV package, PPlus package, 18" wheels, Heated seat package, cargo net and wheel locks.

Is anybody getting below invoice or below the above price with sam equip? What is the current money factor and residual for a 36 month, 15000 mile lease with tier one credit?

RX350 disclosure problem by stockrad

I bought my RX350 from a Washington DC area dealer on Aug 28. The dealer did not inform me of any 'scratches or dings'. However, a week later, the manager called me and informed me that a scratch was fixed and repainted in the headlight area, which they had forgotten to tell me; and that I needed to sign a 'disclosure' form. This is upsetting, because I either would not have bought this particular car, or would have negotiated a lower price, had I known about this. Any suggestions about what I should do?

I'd refuse to sign unless they "give" you something in return, free 10K service or whatever! My 2¢.

I have been looking at RX-350 for the past 2 months. I think $39,864 is high since the price you got is about $900 above the invoice. If you look back in this forum, someone got his RX 350 for $1600 under invoice, I remember he got his from Longo Lexus. You also want to visit clublexus forum, someone there also got his for $1200 below invoice from Mission Viejo Lexus. When it comes to prices, my research and limited personal experience so far showed me that San Diego dealers are so inferior to Orange County and LA dealers. I think you should at least email Longo, Tustin, Glendale, and Mission Viejo Lexus before making a counter offer. You can ask San Diego dealer to match your email offer; it is likely that they won't even come close. I am curious, which dealer did you get the price from? Good luck.

I've dealt with Tony, the internet manager, at Park Place Lexus in Plano and highly recommend him. He's very straightforward and won't make you dicker back and forth over the course of a few days, as he can and will make decisions on what to accept. I've purchased two Lexuses and a Mercedes over the past several years and dealing with Tony was the best experience. You can't go wrong if you choose to buy from him.

Something similar happened to me with a new Accura a couple of years back. I noticed the front tire had a plug in it and I wasn't to happy as you don't normally plug a radial. I started looking closely at the car and found a couple of areas that the paint didn't match very well. The car was red. I went back to the dealer and they at first came up with a bunch of reasons why it couldn't have been something they had fixed. They offered the thought that maybe my wife drove the car and had an accident then went and had it fixed so she wouldn't have to tell me about the accident, said it happens all the time. Lame! Only had the car for a week and she never drove it. After a couple of visits to the dealership they replaced the tire, repainted the mismatched places, twice, and tried to tell me all the scrathes in the clearcoat were normal. It just never looked right. Met with the factory rep a couple of times and then I finally gave up. Loved the way the car drove, but the paint was so bad that I finally traded it in a year later.
I guess the bottom line would be if you looked closely and were happy with the paint job, forget about it, keep the car and tell the dealer you want a couple hundred dollars back for there oversight. Or have them take the car back. Depends on your state laws. Good Luck.

Bought my AWD Rx350 by jdoan

Bought my SUV from Putnam Lexus in Redwood City, CA yesterday. Thought I share the number with those who have been running around looking for a good deal like me

2007 AWD Rx350
Flint Mica & Gray Interior
Premium Plus Package
Navigation system
Towing Prep
Cargo Mat & Wheel Locks
$40,649 before Tax & License

I shopped around and got $40,749 from Magnussen Lexus in Fremont, contacted Putnam Lexus and asked if they could beat the price. They did, and I went in. The car won't be delivered until 9/19, but I believe I good a very good deal.

Putnam offered 4-year Service/Maintenance for $3995, which includes a free Extended Warranty of 7-years/100K mile. I did a quick calculation and believe it was a good option, so I took the offer, too.

Good luck, guys and gals.

Thank you for the advice. The quote was from Carlsbad Lexus. San Diego car dealers are very tough to deal with. I've experienced lots of attitude, miscommunication and poor deals in the past. I will call/email Orange County dealers very soon.
